Caren Herbest is excited to be continuing her teaching career at KCDC. She has been teaching dance, cheer and tumbling for 28 years...yes, she started at age two!! Caren's background started with gymnastics. The balance beam and floor were her specialties as she became a six time All-American gymnast and a member of the National Championship Gymnastic Team while at Gustavus College in Minnesota. Caren now teaches ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical,cheer and tumbling. She has also brings a new class to KCDC: musical theatre. This class involves not only dancing but singing and acting as well. Caren teaches and choreographs for all of the studio's dance teams. Before coming to KCDC Caren taught both World and National Dance Championship teams. Her former students have been seen on the TV shows Star Search and So You Think You Can Dance, on Broadway and starred in movies such as Step Up. Read more...
Ashleigh Reinschmiedt, this is my second wonderful year here at K.C.'s Dance and Cheer Center. Tumbling, cheerleading, gymnastics, and dance have been a part of me since I was three years old. I have a huge passion for the sport of cheerleading and dance and love to share that with others. These experiences taught me hard work, dedication, and to have heart behind everything I do in life. Stephanie Warnerhas been with KCDC for 4 years now. She is an All-Star Coach for the cheerleading teams as well as teaches tumbling classes and privates. She has had many years’ experience in the gym and working with children of all ages. Stephanie started on a competitive gymnastic team when she was just 6 years old in St Louis, MO. Her family moved to Rockwall in 1989. Once in high school, Stephanie was on the State Champion Gymnastics Team for Rockwall High. Her team took the title 2 years in a row. She was also a high school cheerleader for the Rockwall Yellowjackets.Read more...
