Miss “Kim”-Lead Instructor and Director
Kimberly Conoly is a dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading instructor
with a reputation for innovation and achievement in the areas of
discipline, agility, confidence, memorization, and adapting movement
to music. She forms a foundation of trust with children of all ages
and shares her enthusiasm for the love of dance, gymnastics, and
cheerleading, creating award winning results for both her students
and parents alike. She inspires each child to be the best they can
be and makes dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading a significant part
of their lives.
Kimberly has been taking dance in the areas of jazz, lyrical,
ballet, tap, baton, and tumbling for 25 years at Gingham Girls and
Rehearsal Hall in Dallas, TX. She has been in numerous competitions
and participated in many Dance Conventions including Dupree, Dance
Caravan, LA DANCE FORCE, the Rockettes, and Showbiz. While still
attending dance lessons, she has taught dance to youth for the past
15 years. She has worked with unstructured groups of children and
taught them to grow and learn in the areas of dance. She has taught
children between the ages of 2 years to 60 years of age, creating
original and award winning routines for tryouts for school drill
teams.
In the area of gymnastics, Kimberly has 25 years of experience, and
was instructed by elite coaches in this field including Aerial Works
in Rockwall, TX and Spring Valley Gymnastics in Richardson, TX. She
then attended Texas A&M University at College Station, TX and was
selected by the A&M Gymnastics team where she competed in the NCAA
Nationals on vault and floor and her team took first overall. She
started teaching gymnastics in high school and college to the youth
and high school groups and started the first tumbling group at
Rehearsal Hall and first cheerleading programs at the Plano Rec
Center.
Cheerleading has brought all of her skills together. Kimberly has
been a cheerleader for 10 years for her school and on an All Star
squad. She competed at an NCA camp and made it as an All American
Cheerleader. She created and taught original cheers to youth and
high school girls for school tryouts. Recently, she has worked with
cheer squads in the Wylie and Garland area preparing them for summer
camps and competitions. Kimberly created an original competition
routine for an NCA cheerleading competition and the team placed in
the top three of over 100 competitors. K.C.’s Dance & Cheer Center
has All-star teams that compete in different levels at several
different competitions a year including making it to Nationals every
year.
Kimberly attended Texas A&M University at College Station, TX and
majored in Information and Operations Management. She worked in
the corporate world for a number of years and traveled all over the
country. Through all of this experience, Kimberly has learned to
manage, create, direct, and implement successful programs, and
continues to apply these same skills as a successful dance
instructor. |
